Use Your Health Insurance with Us
Some health insurance covers completely, while others cover partially. At Massage Experterne, all our therapists are registered alternative therapists (RAB) or in the process of becoming certified, which is a requirement on the part of the insurance to have the treatment covered. Most insurances today cover massage treatment performed by a registered alternative therapist (RAB).
We cooperate with “Danmark” for settlements. This means you can use your health insurance with us through providers such as Gjensidige, Sundhedsikring, Runa, Lærerstandens Brandforsikring, Bauta and Pensam.

We work with most reputable insurance companies. Use your health insurance with us and get the treatment for free or with a subsidy at Massage Experterne at Frederiksberg, Copenhagen.
Falck Healthcare
Do you have a grant through Falck Healthcare?
Here's everything you need to know before your treatment:
- Duration: An appropriation covers 30 minutes of treatment.
- Booking: Select the category “Falck Healthcare” directly in our online booking system.
- Payment: We settle directly with Falck. This means that you get the treatment without even having to have money out of pocket.
How do I get a grant?
You typically do this through your employer's health portal or by contacting Falck directly. Once your case has been approved, you will receive a grant that you must present to us.
Important about your grant:
We must have received your grant before the start of treatment. If we have not received it in time, you will have to pay for the treatment yourself and then apply for a refund from Falck.
Other health insurances
Many health insurance policies cover massage when the treatment is performed by a RAB-approved processor - and of course we are at Massage Experts.
- Check your grant: Coverage varies from company to company. It must be stated specifically on your grant that it covers massage.
- Booking: When booking an appointment, select the category “Massage through insurance” in our booking system.
- Self-payment: If your insurance covers only part of the price, you will pay the difference yourself in the clinic after the treatment.

We must have received your grant before your treatment starts. If we do not, you must settle for the treatment yourself and then seek reimbursement from your insurance company.
Massages covered by health insurance
It is always the client’s responsibility to ensure that the insurance company has approved the massage treatment before it is performed. If the client cannot provide proof of approval, the agreed amount must be paid by the client.
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
The therapist works deeply into the tissues and muscles. The massage is based on the body’s anatomical structure, requiring the therapist to have detailed knowledge of the muscles’ origin, insertion, function, and condition. Unlike a cosmetic (superficial) massage, the muscles are thoroughly worked through, and any injuries are addressed.
SPORTS MASSAGE
Sports massage has become a natural part of the training routine for many. Many people experience muscle soreness and other muscle-related injuries when exercising. Exercise can be performed at different levels, but one thing is certain: the body reacts by becoming sore and tense, and unfortunately, sometimes it also suffers from strains and overuse injuries. At Massage Experterne, we tailor our approach to your specific condition or injury to provide you with the best possible treatment.
COUPLES MASSAGE
Experience a relaxing couples massage where you can enjoy quality time together. Whether with a partner, friend or family member, you will both receive a personalized massage experience in a calm and soothing environment. Each treatment is tailored to your individual needs for optimal well-being and relaxation.

Use your health insurance
What Should I Do If I Have Been Approved for Massage Treatment Through My Health Insurance?
Before your treatment, please contact your insurance or pension company through which you have your health insurance. If your treatment is approved, you will receive an email from the insurer that you must bring with you to your massage appointment. We will invoice the insurance company directly, so you don’t have to pay upfront. It is important that you have an email or physical proof confirming your massage treatment approval from the insurer.
It is always your responsibility to have the agreement and documentation from your insurance company. If the insurance does not cover the treatment, you will be charged the full price. When booking online, please select "massage through health insurance".

At our clinic, all therapists are registered alternative practitioners (RAB) or are in the process of becoming registered. The Registered Alternative Practitioner (RAB) scheme helps clients navigate the alternative treatment market with confidence. In 2014, the Danish Health Authority (Sundhedsstyrelsen) introduced minimum requirements for the number of hours an alternative therapist must have in anatomy and physiology. Unfortunately, not all therapists meet these standards.
To work with us, we require our therapists to meet the requirements to become a registered alternative therapist (RAB). This ensures a high professional standard and keeps us consistently a step ahead of our competitors.
We strongly support this scheme as it protects you as a customer and guarantees that your therapist has received comprehensive training — not just attended a weekend course, which unfortunately is all too common.
