After the first 48 hours, you can begin with a gentle massage against fiber bursting. We start gradually with the massage to increase blood flow to the muscle, add nourishment and excrete waste substances. We perform careful stretches in which we stretch the muscle gently, without reaching or exceeding the pain threshold. Our goal is to add some movement to the injured muscle without overloading it, as the muscle is still in a phase of recovery and reconstruction. At the beginning of the course of treatment, the muscle may feel stiff and hard, and the stretching will be limited. In most cases, you will see an improvement in flexibility after the first week.
