Hvad er iskiassmerter?

Iskiasnerven er den største nerve i kroppen. Iskiasnerven løber fra lænden og bækken og videre ned til bagsiden af hvert ben. Iskiassmerter kan være utrolig smertefulde og rygsmerterne kan stråle ned i ballen, bagdel, lænd, underben og baglår og give rygsmerter. Strålingen kommer fordi de store ballemuskler bliver for spændte og iskiasnerven bliver klemt, hvis den omkringliggende muskulatur ved iskiasnerven bliver for spændt.

Hvorfor får du iskiassmerter?

Smerterne starter oftest i lænden og vil over tid uden behandling begynde at stråle ned i benet eller gå væk af sig selv. Iskiassmerter opstår tit ved overbelastning eller ved gentagende bevægelser. Hvis du har et hårdt fysisk arbejde og du bukker dig mange gange i løbet af dagen, kan du opleve en overbelastning af lændemusklerne som påvirker iskiasnerven. Hvis du har et stillesiddende job og sidder i samme position får lændemusklerne svært ved at udskille affaldstoffer og få tilført frisk ilt og næring. What is sciatica pain?

The sciatic nerve is the largest nerve in the body. The sciatic nerve runs from the lower back and pelvis and on down to the back of each leg. Sciatica pain can be incredibly painful, and the back pain can radiate down into the buttock, buttocks, lower back, lower leg and buttocks. The radiation comes because the big ball muscles get too tense and the sciatic nerve gets pinched.

Why do you get sciatica pain?

The pain most often starts in the lower back and, over time, without treatment, will begin to radiate down the leg or go away on its own. Sciatica pain often occurs when overloading or by repetitive movements. If you have a hard physical work and you do a lot of lifting during the day, you may experience an overload of the lumbar muscles, which affects the sciatic nerve.
